Personal Biography:
   While obtaining his undergraduate degree, Tom gained invaluable experience in claims investigation and adjustment as an employee of Blue Cross/Blue Shield. While with that organization, and simultaneously enrolled in law school, he was promoted to a management position. After admission to the Bar, Tom entered private practice where he was heavily involved in business litigation and contract negotiations. His next advancement occurred when one of his major clients offered him the position of Vice President and General Counsel to the firm. This entity was involved in real estate investments and was wholly owned by one of the oldest east coast savings banks. Besides reviewing real estate documents, Tom supervised litigation across the country and spearheaded a major corporate acquisition. Thereafter, he spent several years practicing with a variety of corporate and partnership entities.
   Since 1986, Tom has been engaged full-time in Civil Litigation. In the last several years, his principal focus has been Professional Responsibility and Construction Defect. He has prepared and presented his client's position in some of the more complex Construction Defect litigation in San Diego. Tom's broad background in business, real estate, and medical issues has been fully utilized in his litigation practice.
   In 1997, in response to the requests of several clients who were involved in the increasing amount of construction defect litigation in Nevada, Tom passed the Nevada Bar and opened our affiliate office in Las Vegas.

Professional Activities:
   San Diego County Bar Association, American Trial Association, San Diego Defense Lawyers, San Diego Business Trial Lawyers Association, and Clark County Bar Association.

On A Personal Note:
   Tom's irrepressible sense of humor and ready wit have made him well known throughout the legal community. His major interest, he says, is being involved with people who look for the positive side and who can laugh at life in spite of its occasional sharp edges. He is an avid snow skier, piano player, and card shark.
