Personal Biography: A native of New York City, Peter relocated to San Diego to practice law in a city of more obvious charms. Prior to joining the firm, Peter was employed by several litigation firms where he gained broad-based knowledge of high quality, cost-effective representation in complex matters involving real estate transactions, corporate and partnership formation, and class action litigation.
A member of the firm since its inception, Peter initially focused on construction defect and accident litigation. His expertise in these areas of practice is apparent in his ready and pragmatic approach to the multiple details which plague litigators in these specialized areas. His unique style has guaranteed Peter’s success in expeditious resolution of numerous personal injury, construction defect and general casualty claims, including the latest trend of mold claims.
Peter’s litigation experience and writing ability allowed him to grasp the more complex areas of this firm’s appellate and insurance coverage practice. Peter has briefed and argued appeals in both State and Federal Court, achieving a number of published opinions. Having success in both areas, in addition to the day to day management of personal injury, construction defect and general casualty claims, Peter heads the firm’s appellate practice and insurance coverage teams.
Professional Activities: Peter is an active member of the Insurance Committee of the San Diego County Bar Association, the San Diego Defense Lawyers Association, the Clark County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in the States of California and Nevada, and is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court, the Nevada Supreme Court, the United States District Court, Southern, Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Peter also serves the community by sitting as Judge Pro Tem over civil cases.
On A Personal Note: A devoted husband and father, Peter finds time to coach Little League baseball and AYSO soccer. Peter and his wife, Dori, enjoy entertaining, traveling, and spending time with their family.
