Personal Biography:
Elliot began his formal education at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Although the snow skiing was fantastic, the lure of Southern California – and warmer weather – proved too strong. He transferred to the University of California, Santa Barbara to enjoy the academics of a major California University, and return to his Southern California roots. Elliot received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1991. In 1994, he earned a JD from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, Cum Laude.

During his first year of law school he was accepted as a writer on Law Review, later serving as an editor. While still in law school, Elliot became a Certified Legal Intern with the Felony Litigation Unit of the San Diego District Attorney's office, assisting in the prosecution of criminal matters ranging from burglary to murder. In addition, he earned the opportunity to clerk for a Superior Court Judge.

Elliot has worked in many diverse areas of the law including: insurance litigation, personal injury, construction defect, Federal Miller Act Claims, real estate and business litigation.

Professional Activities:
Elliot is active in his profession and belongs to the Litigation and Real Property Sections of the San Diego County Bar Association. To expand his legal perspective, he attended a seminar in Cambridge, England, studying international law, as well as, comparing and contrasting the American and English legal systems. Elliot is admitted to practice before all State Courts in California and the United States District Court, Southern and Central Districts of California.

On A Personal Note:
Elliot is married and the father of two girls. Growing up in San Diego, Elliot not only knows the City, but takes full advantage of what it has to offer. On any given weekend you can find him enjoying the bay and beaches with his family.
