Personal Biography: Darren was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. He attended the State University of New York at Buffalo where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. During his youth and college, Darren played competitive ice hockey and was a member of the 1998-1999 State University of New York at Buffalo ECHL Champions. Immediately after completing his undergraduate degree, Darren went on to attend law school at Thomas Jefferson School of Law where he was nominated and received the 2004-2005 "Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges" Award. While attending Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Darren participated in the comparative law program in Nice, France under the instruction of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. He also completed extensive mediation training, allowing him to serve as a mediator for the Small Claims division of the San Diego Superior Court. During his last year, Darren was elected Student Bar Association President, which allowed him to represent the student body with law school-related issues. Darren has experience litigating cases involving construction law, personal injury, trucking claims, and general liability including premises liability. Professional Activities: Darren is a member of the Clark County Bar Association and the Nevada Young Lawyers Section. He is admitted to practice in all State Courts in Nevada and the United States District Court, District of Nevada.
On A Personal Note: Darren continues to enjoy playing ice hockey, racquetball, and golf.
