Personal Biography:
Danielle was born in Amarillo, Texas.  Because of her father’s job with Coca Cola, Danielle and her family relocated several times before settling in Atlanta, Georgia. From childhood through college, Danielle was an avid athlete and competitive swimmer.

She attended the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina, where she majored in Political Science and was a member of the swim team. Having realized at an early age that she wanted to practice law, Danielle prepared herself with a number of jobs usually held only by law students. While still an undergraduate, she worked at a general civil litigation firm, as well as holding an internship with the County Public Defender’s Office. Danielle also accepted a position with a criminal defense firm where, as she explains, she seemed to be “more often inside the jail interviewing clients than anywhere else.” A year prior to attending law school, Danielle took a position as an administrative assistant with an employment law boutique and quickly advanced to Director of Marketing.

During her first year of law school she interned at the San Diego County Alternate Public Defender’s Office. Throughout the rest of her law school career, she was actively involved in the Student Bar Association and served as Lieutenant Governor of Membership for the Ninth Circuit. Passionate about gaining as much legal experience as she could, Danielle then clerked at several prominent San Diego civil law firms.

After becoming a member of the State Bar, Danielle began her legal career at a La Jolla firm which specialized in complex business litigation and real estate litigation.  Thereafter, Danielle joined our firm and has brought a standard of excellence in her work and ethics which is the basis of the firm’s practice.

Professional Activities:
Danielle is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, San Diego Defense Lawyers Association, Lawyers Club of San Diego, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Construction section of the California Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before all State Courts in California and the United States District Court, Southern District of California.

Charitable Activities:
Danielle has served on the Board of Directors for the San Diego Defense Lawyers as a general board member in 2007 and on the Executive Board as Treasurer for 2008.  In addition, Danielle is currently acting as a Delegate for the San Diego County Bar Association Conference of Delegates.  Finally, Danielle is serving as a general board member on the Board of Directors for the USO.

On A Personal Note:
Having a love for mild climates and the beach, Danielle vows she will never return to the East Coast. When not working, Danielle and her husband, Earl, can often be found at the gym, watching a movie, having a barbeque, or playing with their kitty or rambunctious puppy.
