Personal Biography:
Allison was born and raised in Dover, Delaware and lived in Philadelphia for seven years while attending both undergraduate and law school.  After finishing law school in 2004, she decided to move to San Diego simply for the beach and the climate.  Allison claims she fell in love with San Diego after visiting her uncle and playing tennis tournaments here.  She vows she will never return to the east coast, except to visit friends and family, all of whom still live there.

Allison received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing, with a minor in Spanish, from St. Joseph's University in 2001.  She received a tennis scholarship the four years she attended St. Joe's and played number one singles and doubles all four years.  She was named team captain her Sophomore year and currently holds the record for most career wins at first singles.

While attending Villanova University School of Law, Allison was a member of the Asian Pacific Association of Law Students.  She also was the Managing Editor of Associate Editors for the Sports & Entertainment Law Journal.  During her third year, she participated in the Farmworkers' Legal Aid Clinic, which allowed her to represent Hispanic clients with employment-related issues.

While not attending classes, Allison devoted much of her time to teaching high-risk, low-income youth the game of tennis.  Also while in law school, Allison gained valuable experience in the legal field through interning for a superior court judge in Washington D.C., working for a sports marketing company as a legal and marketing assistant and clerking for a large national law firm in its subrogation department.

Professional Activities:
Allison is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, San Diego Defense Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association.  She is admitted to practice before all State Courts in California, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.

On A Personal Note:
Allison enjoys keeping active and spending time with her newlywed husband, Joe, and their two kittens.  After work and on the weekends, you can find her at the gym, playing tennis, going for a run, surfing or trying one of San Diego’s many restaurants.
