Personal Biography

A preeminent AV® rated trial attorney, Tim has had a tremendous amount of success representing a diverse group of clients. He has extensive experience defending both insured and self-insured clients against various liability claims, including personal injury, property damage, breach of contract, unfair business practices, toxic torts, product defect, employment discrimination, elder abuse, and major job site and trucking accidents.

Tim received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979 from San Jose State University where he also participated in intercollegiate sports and spent a semester as an intern in the California State Senate. After working several years in the Silicon Valley area as an outside sales representative for a number of different manufacturers, Tim pursued his law degree at the University of Santa Clara School of Law. During law school, Tim spent a semester abroad at Oxford University, where he pursued studies in the area of comparative law.

Throughout his schooling and now in his legal practice, Tim has carried with him the philosophy that while a certain amount of skill and success is natural, most only comes through hard work and dedication.
