Personal Biography
Erwin began his career as an attorney with FMG upon passing the California Bar Exam. His prior legal experience entailed two clerkships with the United States Attorney’s Office (Criminal and Civil Divisions) where he helped prosecute parties suspected of identity theft, money laundering, and government fraud. He also worked for a large intellectual property litigation firm in San Francisco.
After finishing his undergraduate work at Notre Dame, Erwin worked in research and development for HP, and subsequently, joined the U.S. Navy as a nuclear submarine officer candidate. After receiving an honorable medical discharge, Erwin worked as a legislative researcher in Sacramento where he was mentored by lawyers who fostered his interest in the law.
