Darlene has worked as a litigation attorney at FMG since 2001, where she specializes in handling matters involving business litigation, products liability, personal injury and construction law. She has litigated matters at all levels, including arguing a case at the 9th Circuit Court of Appeal, and has successfully handled innumerable dispositive motions, trials, binding arbitrations, and mediations.
A graduate of Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, Darlene also studied abroad for a semester at the University of Vienna, Austria. She is a Massachusetts native who first began working in the legal field as a litigation paralegal when she relocated to the Los Angeles area in 1988. She earned her B.S. Degree in Paralegal Studies at the University of West Los Angeles, where she obtained ABA specialized certifications in Litigation and Real Estate. Her tremendous litigation and trial acumen was first developed as a litigation paralegal for a Los Angeles-based firm specializing in intellectual property, business, and commercial litigation.
A love for the outdoors, an admirer of art and wine enthusiast, Darlene can usually be found close to the ocean either hiking, running, seeking out an outdoor concert or art exhibit, or savoring a vintage with friends.
