The personality of FMG is best reflected in our retired Senior Partner, Dennis Fredrickson, a preeminent AV® rated trial attorney with over 40 years experience. Dennis retired from the partnership in 2007 and is now “of counsel” to FMG. He remains actively involved in various aspects of FMG’s operations in his ongoing role of mentor and senior advisor, and he also has a private mediation practice, The Mediation and Resolution Specialist Group.
From Dennis’ viewpoint, passed onto the other FMG attorneys and staff, this profession is about the law, but more importantly it is about people, communication, and balance. Dennis combines legal experience with practical life experience, from racing motorcycles in Baja to practicing law in Mexico, from volunteering for non-profit organizations to trying cases in courts of civil and administrative law, from raising his own family to starting his own firm. Dennis draws on his life and educational experiences to best serve his clients, his colleagues and his profession. He also remains strongly committed to pro bono work, and both he and FMG are involved in assisting a number of non-profit organizations. He is a founding member of Therapeutic Living Centers for the Blind (TLC), a non-profit facility that provides lifetime care for the multi-handicapped blind, and has served on its Board, as well as that of the TLC Foundation. He has also been involved with an Alzheimer's care center, a non-profit organization that provides adult daycare, as well as training for caretakers of Alzheimer's patients.
